Within a day, Russian forces attacked two districts of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast more than 50 times. As a result of the shelling, five civilians were injured, and houses, shops, and pharmacies were damaged.

In Kryvyi Rih, the consultative-diagnostic center of Hospital No. 3 was opened after a major renovation: Metinvest and the Rinat Akhmetov Foundation invested around UAH 125 million in upgrading the facility that serves 101,000 residents.

During the night of August 27, debris fell in Kyiv's Podilskyi and Shevchenkivskyi districts, including in the courtyard of a residential building and on the grounds of an educational institution. At the same time, Zaporizhzhia, the Poltava region, and Kryvyi Rih came under attack.

Demolition of the shopping center destroyed by a Russian drone strike has been completed in Kryvyi Rih: rescuers dismantled about 5,000 sq. m of structures and removed over 1,200 tons of debris.

Russian forces carried out seven strikes on Zaporizhzhia District: two people were killed and 15 were wounded, including a child. Civilian infrastructure and other regions of Ukraine continue to suffer from shelling.

In the evening of August 21, Russian forces struck the settlement of Tokarevka in the Mykolaiv region: four civilians were killed, including three children aged 11–12. August 22 was declared a day of mourning in the region.
