Encounter with Apophis: How billions of people will see the asteroid with the naked eye in 2029
In 2029, asteroid Apophis will fly by Earth at a distance of 30,600 km. Up to 90% of the planet's population, including residents of Europe, Africa, and Asia, will see this event with the naked eye. NASA plans to study the object in detail using the OSIRIS-APEX probe. 🌍🪐🔭
