Elon Musk has proposed using the Starship system to deploy giant space telescopes and build scientific observatories on the Moon.

SpaceX published footage of the historic 14th Starship launch, during which the spacecraft reached orbit for the first time and deployed 26 Starlink V3 satellites.

The Starship spacecraft exploded after splashing down in the Pacific Ocean, but SpaceX considers it routine. The vehicle reached orbit for the first time and deployed 26 satellites.

SpaceX is preparing Starship's 14th flight — the first full orbital one: the vehicle will make about six laps at an altitude of 275 km and deploy 26 Starlink V3 satellites. The launch is possible no earlier than September 22.

SpaceX has announced the construction of Starbase Louisiana — a $100 billion spaceport for thousands of annual Starship launches. The first launch from the new base is planned for 2029.

SpaceX begins the orderly wind-down of Falcon 9 after nearly 700 missions: most commercial launches are set to cease around 2028, while the full transition to Starship depends on the results of the megarocket's test flights.

SpaceX has postponed the first attempt to catch the Starship upper stage with the Mechazilla tower: instead of the upcoming 14th launch, the maneuver has been pushed back by several months. Ahead lies the spacecraft's first orbital flight.

SpaceX conducted static fire tests of the Starship vehicle Ship 41's engines at the Starbase facility in South Texas. This is preparation for the 14th flight — the first attempt to put a fully reusable system into Earth orbit.

SpaceX has completed the rescue operation for the Starship Ship 40 prototype, which drifted in the Indian Ocean for 24 days after its 13th test flight. Engineers inspected the 50-meter ship and are preparing data for a repeat flight at the end of 2026 or in early 2027.

On August 19, SpaceX carried out its 100th launch since the beginning of 2026: a Falcon 9 from Vandenberg Base deployed 24 Starlink satellites into orbit. Of the 100 launches, 97 were performed by Falcon 9, and 74 missions were related to expanding the Starlink constellation.

SpaceX successfully recovered the Starship Ship 40 prototype from the Indian Ocean after the 13th test flight. This is the first rescue operation of its kind in history, opening new prospects for reusable space technologies.

🚀 SpaceX has announced plans to launch 100,000 Starlink satellites into orbit! 📡 Key Facts: - Transition to the V3 generation will increase bandwidth by 100 times. - The speed of a single V3 satellite is 10 times higher than V2. - Starship rocket launches will play a key role. - Direct smartphone connectivity (Direct-to-Cell) will become mass-market. 🌍 This will change the internet in developing countries, including Uzbekistan. #SpaceX #Starlink #ElonMusk #Technology

🚀 Elon Musk announced SpaceX's plans to build factories on the Moon. Robots will produce Starmind satellites and launch them using electromagnetic catapults. Starship will play a key role by reducing delivery costs by 10 times. 🌑🤖 #SpaceX #Moon #ElonMusk

🚀 SpaceX is conducting an operation to rescue Starship Ship 40 in the Indian Ocean. After a successful splashdown on July 24, the ship encountered a storm. Elon Musk warned of difficulties, but engineers have already obtained valuable data. 🌊🛰️ #SpaceX #Starship #ElonMusk #Space

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman openly declared his trust in SpaceX and their project for orbital data centers. 🌐🚀 According to him, without Elon Musk's engineering talent and capital, the implementation of the Artemis program is impossible. 🔭

SpaceX has shown the first photos of Starlink V3 satellites from Starship orbit. 🛰️ The units deployed their panels and connected to the constellation, but burned up after 20 minutes. 🔥 The new satellites promise a 10x speed increase and a 100x total network capacity. 🚀

NASA and SpaceX have completed a series of aerodynamic tests of Super Heavy V3 at the Ames Research Center. Tests at speeds up to 2.5 Mach are necessary to refine the control system during the rocket's return to the atmosphere. This data is critical for the success of the Artemis III mission and the lunar landing in 2027 🚀🌕
