Ukraine's Defense Ministry reported that in August ground robotic complexes carried out more than 25,000 logistical and evacuation missions, and since the start of 2026 the number has reached approximately 112,000.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Defense confirmed combat testing of strike ground robots with paired Kalashnikov turrets, developed by the Brave1 cluster in less than six months. The complexes have already been used against ambushes with buried FPV drones.

The DOT agency has for the first time announced a tender for the procurement of two types of ground robotic complexes — logistics and strike. The tender is divided into classes and lots to involve several manufacturers and reduce the risk of supply disruptions.

Ukrainian military personnel report an 80% shortage of armored vehicles for medical evacuation, while the state is mass-purchasing ground robots. According to medics, robots do not replace armor during the second stage of wounded evacuation.
